Drabble #2: A story in 100 words

I write my diary on the 7.56 pm local.

I look at the man nodding off on my left. He looks sixty. He is fat and bald. I can see that. He doesn't have hair on his head. He has a large nose and hair on his ears, like vertical eyelashes. He has an ugly mole on his chin.

I turn to look at him. He is staring at me. I jump. “Eeeks! You scared me!”

“Are you making fun of me?” he points at my phone.

“Uh...no...I wasn’t.”

“Biff!”

    1. Thanks, Margot! I appreciate it. I post it on my Fb page for those who don't visit my blog and are new to the concept of Drabble. Thanks again for introducing me to it.

    1. Thanks, Elgin. The suburban train network is the lifeline of Bombay and most people spend a quarter of their lives commuting by the "local" trains. It's like a living sitcom.

    1. Thanks, Moira. It's fun observing people in the local trains. The gentleman in question actually sat beside me, the rest is fiction.

    1. Thanks, Tracy. Most of my drabbles are situational.

    1. Thanks, Col. Partly real — the gentleman, as described, sat next to me and I thought I'd weave a drabble around him.

    1. Hi Sergio! Good to "see" you again. Well, not a true event, but the gent certainly was.
